The start of the new academic year meant establishing a new routine with the high pace of all the jobs and courses. It also meant discovering the true friendships that withstood the summer break, or more precisely – had its more profound start from now on. On the first of September, I wake up in Amsterdam and go to Eindhoven where we spend the evening with Sibora and a bottle of Moldovan wine. September was a story of a passing character – and me getting used to it – or my dearest friends at my birthday that made this day one of the happiest days of the year. The month I got myself a film camera that now accompanies me everywhere I go – and is such an essential part of this grounding feeling I have.
